Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2

“I create for a living! I’m a creator! I am a creator! ”
…Barton Fink, 1991

Mass Effect 2 is now officially announced and I’ll leave the teaser do the rest. I’ll only say: you have NO idea.

Well as I still try and swim through the needled river of the year of the Ox, certain things are appearing on the radar that (will hopefully be) wonderful. I’m working on a new pet-project that is starting to bear fruit, to become something that, well Poppy Carnahan put it best in Barton Fink: “lord knows I have a gut, and my gut tells me it’s simply marvelous.” I’m still at the early stages, but I’m feverish with excitement and anticipation of going home to do absolutely any little thing to do with….well we’ll call it A Neat Idea right now. It’s too early to discuss anything, but I’m onto something here. So for now, it’s research research research as I try to find a zone that will take The Neat Idea into a fullblown home-project. Vague and as annoying as that might be, I’m too excited not to mention something.

In non-work news, Watchmen is weeks away from opening and I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a film since The Fellowship of the Ring was making its way onscreen. Seeing Rorschach in the toilet fight is all I really want to see.

That’s about it. More on A Neat Idea in the months to come!
